As punishinment for killing the Baby of Macon, The Daughter(Ormond) is ordered
to death, but must suffer in pain before she is committed to heaven.
One by one, the men of the city rape her brutally until she dies from
the torture. As a statement against Christianity, Greenway tries to
show the manipulative and hypocratic nature of the religion, especially
during its darker periods when sin was the instrument to punish sin
itself. How cruel it is then to rape a woman to death?
