The police have agreed that the most likely suspect at the moment is Catherine Tramell (Stone), whose
book coincidentally details a similar killing. Nick (Douglas) and his partner Gus (Dzundza) are
dispatched to Tramell's beachfront resident to bring her in for interrogation. There, Nick sees
the reflection of her dressing in the mirror and lingers until she is done. She doesn't notice, or
does she? Certainly, Nick's voyeuristic tendencies begin to surface or is made apparent in this
scene, setting up important character traits which may prove significant later on.
